Hi! Welcome to HR Club Newcastle.
HR Club Newcastle is a community group for HR professionals in Newcastle and surrounding areas which focuses on encouraging idea sharing; providing inspiration, innovation and professional development.
Never before has there been an opportunity for HR professionals in Newcastle and the Hunter to come together in an informal setting, get to know each other, ask questions and share ideas and experiences. Now there is! This is it!
Newcastle has a wealth of talent and expertise in our HR Community. Talent and expertise that should be developed and shared.

Speaking of words of wisdom (or otherwise!), this is the part where I let you all know that the opinions expressed here are my own and not that of my current or previous employers. However I would like to thank them for providing me with many experiences which have enriched my career and for allowing me to share them.
More about me
I grew up in Newcastle and have a B Bus (HR & IR) from The University of Newcastle and a Certificate II in Small Business. In 2000 I also spent a year living and studying in Budapest, Hungary. I moved home from Sydney in 2010 and am currently working in Newcastle as an HR Manager in Professional Services. I have previously worked in various industry sectors including heavy industry in Australia and the UK.
At work, I’m passionate about emotional intelligence, career development, employee engagement and fun.
At home I’m passionate about great food, films, playing guitar (poorly!) and music. Sports-wise I like Netball, Swimming, Golf and Skiing.
